Employment of Record (EOR)
An EOR is the recorder for the worker but does not have any supervisory or managerial role with the employee. The original employee maintains the substantive employment relationship and is the one who makes all decisions regarding compensation, tasks, projects and termination of contract.
Specifically, a registered employer is a legal entity that:
- Organize all visas and work permits for the employee, thus avoiding delays and refusals
- Provide a registered entity to carry out local and compliant payroll
- Adheres to labor laws regarding local contracts and worker protection.
- Advises the client regarding advance notifications, contract termination rules and settlements.
- It is the interface in the host country between the employee and government authorities.
Business Process Payroll Outsourcing (BPPO)
Business Process Payroll Outsourcing (BPPO) is a business practice in which an organization contracts with an outside service provider to perform an essential business task.
Typically, an organization first identifies a process that is necessary to its operations but is not part of its core value proposition in the marketplace; This step requires a good understanding of the processes within the organization and strong business process management.
Processes that are performed the same or similarly from one company to another, such as payroll or accounting, are candidates for BPPO.
Global Payroll Compliance (GPC)
As payroll and labor regulations adapt, maintaining internal knowledge to control all these changes becomes complex and costly. Virtually every company has access to – or already uses – a variety of sources of information and expertise related to Global Payroll Compliance (GPC).

Localized benefits
All companies that operate globally have the opportunity to create development plans for talented executive staff, since there are enough positions of responsibility in the territories in which they operate that allow them to implement rotation and development plans, which are not possible if managed in one country. On the other hand, many times international companies find it necessary to mobilize managerial and technical talent to other countries, to make up for deficiencies in the organization of these places, while preparing local replacements for important positions. These are the two most important factors that give rise to the need to have a list of expatriate personnel and to remunerate in a beneficial way in different aspects to make the work viable.
